HRD is a career-enhancing structured doctoral program that offers tailored interdisciplinary and professional training on top of an excellent diabetes-centered scientific education.

All HDC-based doctoral researchers are HRD members and can benefit from program-organized training and activities.  Currently, the program includes more than 70 members working at the different HDC institutes and the ADI.

A limited number of HRD-funded positions are offered on a competitive basis during annual international application calls at HDC and our international partner Alberta Diabetes Institute. HRD-funded positions include a mandatory research exchange at the international partner, which further enriches the interdisciplinary and collaborative nature of the doctoral projects.

More information on the HRD-funded students can be found by navigating to the respective year of doctoral project start. Impressions from events organized by the HRD can be found in the News & Events section.
