Ombudspersons for Graduate Students

For all PhD students of HELENA and thus the International Helmholt Research School for Diabetes ombudspersons may be contacted in case of conflict between PhD students and their advisors. Ombudspersons are designated impartial individuals who mediate in cases of conflict and all conversations are strictly confidential. The ombudspersons are nominated by all PhD students of HELENA and are elected for a term of two years. For the term of 2017 - 2019, you will find the elected confidants at the HELENA website.

DINI - Doctoral Students' Initiative

The DINI is a free association of graduate students that organizes activities of the graduate students' community, connects between management and graduate students in all affairs and provides information for graduate students at the Helmholtz Center Munich. Their Welcome Team offers support in orientation at the Helmholtz Center Munich and in the city Munich to all new graduate students. Moreover, they organize social activities and PhD get togethers for the graduate students community.
