The doctoral researcher representatives represent the voices of ALL doctoral researchers of the International Helmholtz Research School for Diabetes employed at theHelmholtz Diabetes Center in Munich. They serve as a link between the research school’s coordinator, doctoral researchers, and supervisors, and represent and communicate the interests and concerns of doctoral researchers.

As members of the Management Board, the doctoral researcher representatives play an important role in decision-making on all matters of the International Helmholtz Research School for Diabetes. Their suggestions and ideas directly influence and shape the research school's program and structure to guarantee an attractive and successful training for doctoral researchers.
