The Alberta Diabetes Institute hosted our first annual joint symposium on November 27-28, 2019.
The symposium featured the first graduate students enrolled in the HRD as well as PI's from the HDC and ADI.
Over the course of 2 days, the symposium provided excellent opportunity for networking, exchange and of course presentations on the latest and exciting approaches in the field of diabetes research.
This symposium is a key event in generating long-lasting and fruitful collaborations between the two research centers.
We would like to thank all the participants for their contributions and are looking forward to next year's joint-research symposium, which will be hosted by the HDC in Munich.
